This week i found myself encoutering a lot of single females waiting on God to send the right one, or send someone, and i found myself asking why? why is our main focus in life to find that perfect person and get married? i feel that we do everything prior to marriage for marriage. We study to get a good job to be able to provide for our family when are married? we go to church to maybe meet our Husband? we pray to God to send us our Husband? which yes is the dream for any girl, including myself but is this really what life is? building everything we do, say and live around marriage?

I see this as time wasted instead of making pursuing God a priority, yes its good to prepare yourself to become the best version of yourself for your partner one day but what happened to being content in your time of  being single? what happened to asking God for more of Him and not focusing on sending the guy?

Iam all for the Godly marriage i cant wait to have that one day!i cant wait to walk down the isle, in the most amazing wedding dress. But i dont think life should be viewed as marriage as the goal/motivation.

Truth is there isnt a perfect guy, and we should stop wasting each day focused on meeting the perfect guy. And start focusing on becoming stronger women in Christ and falling inlove with Jesus everyday.

We should get excited every morning to get up, change the world, learn more about God, fellowship and see what God has in store for us, we dont have to wait for marriage to get excited to wake up in the morning, or to do the fun adventure things life has to offer, or wait for marriage to increase our knowledge of the word.

Being single is just as important as being married, it is the time of just growing so much in your walk with God and discovering Him like never before.

So when you wake up tomorrow morning and you not excited about being single, just remember God has you where He wants you to be, and if He wanted you to be married right now you would be, so enjoy this time of singleness, grow, learn and focus on Jesus. The only love you need.
